Eintracht Frankfurt secured their fourth consecutive Bundesliga victory on Saturday, beating FC Augsburg 2-1 at the Allianz Arena.
The match was dominated by Eintracht's attacking threat, as they took advantage of some sloppy defending from the hosts to take a 1-0 lead in the first half.
Arunis Kamada put the visitors ahead early on, capitalizing on a defensive mistake to power home a shot from close range.
However, FC Augsburg soon found themselves back into the game through a goal from Niklas Süle.
But Eintracht remained in control, and were rewarded for their efforts when substitute Kevin Volland scored a stunning free-kick to give them a 2-1 lead just before halftime.
Despite being reduced to ten men shortly after the restart, Eintracht continued to dominate proceedings and were eventually crowned winners thanks to another Kamada strike.
The win means that Eintracht have now won four straight games in all competitions, and will be looking to continue their impressive form in the coming weeks.
